Productive interventions like the proposed Global Meet shall facilitate the outward mobility of the native products. This would in turn resist the strategies of the global capital which often make us their markets by making us buy their products and not vice versa.
The Department of Industries & Commerce, Government of Kerala is organising 'VYAPAR 2017', the 6th edition of Kerala Business to Business Meet 2017 at Bolgatty Palace & Island Resort, Kochi, Kerala, India from February 2 to 4, 2017.
The Meet, spread over three days focus on promoting the products of some of the key sectors of the State namely Food Processing (Food & Spices), Handlooms, Textiles & Garments, Rubber, Coir based Products, Ayurveda & Herbal, Electrical & Electronics and Traditional Sector like Handicrafts, Bamboo etc.
The ‘VYAPAR 2017’ aims to showcase the strong manufacturing base of Kerala State and to highlight the quality products to sustain the existing Industry and enable its growth. The selected SMEs of the above Sectors from Kerala will display their products & technologies during the Meet, whereby the Buyers will get first hand information regarding the product. Several National and International Buyers will visit and participate in the Kerala Business to Business Meet 2017.
VYAPAR 2017, organised by the Department of Industries and Commerce, shall bring in innovative thoughts of reaching out to a global populace and find sustainable models of development. The Meet shall function as a perfect platform of interaction among the many different possibilities of business ventures. It’s an open stage where the manufactures come face to face with the Business Houses/Buyers/Trade Associates affecting creative interventions.
